A tiny grey rat wearing a very important blueberry hat.
Handmade from ceramic in my little Marrickville studio, each rat and its fruity little hat is carefully shaped, painted, and assembled by hand, so every one is slightly different and full of personality.
A tiny blueberry-loving friend for your shelf, desk, or anywhere that could use a little extra silliness.
Cute, fruity, and definitely not sharing his blueberry.
This little guy is approximately 12cm tall, 7cm wide and 7cm deep.
A little note about the handmade finish:
Each piece is handmade and individually assembled, so small variations in shape, texture, colour, and finish are completely normal and make every piece unique.
The back or underside may not be perfectly smooth or uniform, and small areas of exposed ceramic may be visible. These are natural parts of the handmade process and are not considered faults.
Each piece is carefully checked before being sent out. If your item arrives damaged or has an issue beyond normal handmade variations, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to help.
A blueberry so realistic you might accidentally try to eat it!
Handmade from ceramic in my little Marrickville studio, each blueberry is lovingly crafted and painted by hand so every one is a little bit unique. A tiny fruity friend for your fridge, made with love and a little bit of weirdness.
Cute and useful, these tiny berries can hold multiple sheets of paper on your fridge.
Price is for one (1) magnet.
Each magnet is approximately 1cm by 1cm and is secured with a single 5mm magnet.
A little note about the handmade finish:
Each magnet is handmade and individually assembled in my studio, so the back of each piece may have slight variations in texture, shape, or finish. The magnet is securely glued into place and every piece is tested before being sent out to make sure it functions as intended.
Because these are handmade rather than machine-produced, small imperfections or differences on the back are a natural part of the process and make each piece unique. Please note that the back of the magnet may not be perfectly smooth or completely flush. The back of each magnet is not glazed, as the magnet cannot be fired in the kiln if the entire piece is glazed. Because of this, some of the white ceramic may be visible from the front when the magnet is placed on your fridge.
The front of the magnet is the finished, decorative side shown in the listing photos.
Due to the handmade nature of these pieces, I am unable to offer refunds or replacements based solely on variations in the finish described above. If your item arrives damaged or has an issue beyond the normal handmade variations described here, please contact me and I’ll be happy to help.

Who is Claymilkdad?
My name is Bella and I am a queer artist, ceramicist, and lifelong appreciator of the wonderfully weird, working on Gadigal Land of the Eora Nation.
From my little studio in Marrickville, I hand-make every piece myself, one imperfect creation at a time.
My love with ceramics began, rather unexpectedly, at a wine-and-clay date. I went for the wine, stayed for the clay, and have been completely smitten ever since.
In terms of the strange little creatures, I have loved rats for as long as I can remember.
I was an odd child, the kind who found beauty in the weird and the slightly unsettling. My dad played rugby for a team called the Rats, and naturally, I became completely enamoured with their mascot. Looking back, it seems less like a childhood phase and more like the universe was quietly preparing me for my destiny.
These days, I’ve grown into an equally strange adult, making ceramic treasures for other strange adults who understand that rats are cute and life is much more fun when you embrace the odd.
So, welcome to the rat gang.
